A man from Carefree, Ariz., has won a virtually carefree vacation in the latest ResortQuest Vacation Treasure Hunt contest held Tuesday, Jan. 26. Jim H. won a five-night stay for $1 a day at the platinum-rated River Ridge Townhomes in Sun Valley, Idaho — a prize valued at $4,500.
“We are very excited about the response we are getting to the treasure hunt,” said Cheryl Spezia, ResortQuest’s vice president of marketing. “I think the people participating in the hunt recognize what a fantastic value these prizes are, and they really want to win.”
Tuesday’s contest was the second of 11 weekly promotions, each featuring a different ResortQuest vacation rental property — a condo, vacation home or hotel suite — at a ski destination in Aspen, Breckenridge/Keystone or Steamboat, Colo.; Park City, Utah, or Sun Valley, Idaho.
River Ridge Townhomes #25 is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac and has a third-floor great room with vaulted ceiling, fireplace and spectacular views of Bald Mountain. This tri-level townhome has three bedrooms and four baths, with room for up to nine guests. Other premium amenities at River Ridge #25 include wireless Internet access, a private two-car garage, and a master suite with jetted tub.
The VacationTreasure Hunt is held every week until March 30. The next contest — featuring a five-night stay March 21-26 — starts Tuesday, Feb. 2, at noon EST.
To participate, treasure hunters navigate through ResortQuest’s ski-destination websites to locate a hidden treasure map icon. The treasure map reveals the toll-free number and promotion code needed to call and claim the prize. The Web site offers clues to help treasure hunters find the location of the map. New clues are continually added until someone finds the map and calls to claim the treasure.
