Spring Fever — It's that restless feeling you get around March and April when the sun is shining brighter longer and the days are getting warmer. With the melting snow comes a need for change, and anything fun is fair game. It involves long days of spring skiing, après beers on your favorite patio, basking in the sun and a secret longing for your love — summer — to arrive (you don't want to make winter jealous).
But, the actual term Spring Fever is recognized by science as a biological change that occurs in humans as the seasons switch from winter to spring. Wikipedia defines Spring Fever as: "A term applied to several sets of physical and psychological symptoms associated with the arrival of Spring. It refers to an increase in energy and vitality, often particularly strong in those experiencing lows during the winter months." It's like we are coming out of our winter hibernation, and we're ready to play!
