In less than a decade, the Steamboat Wine Festival has evolved from humble beginnings into a four-day event that draws thousands of culinary connoisseurs and wine aficionados. Now in its eighth year, the festival is set to include seminars, demonstrations and grand tastings with more than 100 winemakers, executive chefs, master sommeliers and more. The event will kick off on Thursday, August 4 and run through Sunday, August 7, 2011 at locations around Steamboat Springs.

As a proud Lodging Partner of the annual festival, ResortQuest is generously offering 50 percent off each subsequent night of a two- to five-night stay after paying full price for the first night (i.e. stay two nights, get the second night 50 percent off; stay three nights, get the second and third nights 50 percent off).

Guests booking with ResortQuest also may purchase discounted tickets to festival events, including $10 off tickets to the Wine on the Mountain Kickoff Celebration on Thursday, August 4 (discounted price: $115); the Stroll of Steamboat Grand Tasting on Friday, August 5 (discounted price: $60); and the Toast of Steamboat Grand Tasting on Saturday, August 6, 2011 (discounted price: $80). This special lodging rate and discounted ticket prices are available Tuesday, May 24 through Monday, May 30, 2011.

"Much like the food and wine pairings that will be enjoyed at the event, our vacation rentals make an excellent complement to the Steamboat Wine Festival," said Frank Alfone, general manager, ResortQuest by Wyndham Vacation Rentals, Steamboat Springs. "Guests can get inspired at a cooking demonstration, and then try out the recipe for themselves in the fully equipped kitchen at their ResortQuest condominium or private home rental."

Trappeur's Crossing Resort has been ranked as one of the world's best hotels on the Expedia Insiders' Select list and is located two blocks from the festival venue at Gondola Plaza. The Torian Plum is Steamboat's premier ski-in/ski-out lodging, located alongside the Christie Peak chairlift and just 100 yards from the Gondola.

The Steamboat Wine Festival is produced annually by Team Player Productions, Inc. A portion of the proceeds from the 2011 festival will benefit Steamboat Adaptive Recreational Sports ("STARS"), a local non-profit organization that provides recreational opportunities for people with disabilities.
