Kenny Rogers and Jamey Johnson Headline Ocean City, Maryland’s 37th Annual Sunfest Festivities

Ocean City, Maryland’s Sunfest says farewell to summer with its 37th annual festival this September, featuring an eclectic mix of food, live entertainment, arts and crafts, hayrides and more.

Sunfest’s headline entertainment kicks off at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 22 under the big-top tent at the Ocean City Inlet with Linwood Peel's Tribute to the Drifter’s, Cornell Gunter's Coasters and the Del Vikings. This trio of classic acts will bring a host of excitement and energy to Ocean City as they perform a bevy of soulful hits the whole family can enjoy. The festival runs Thursday, Sept. 22 through Sunday, Sept. 25 at the Ocean City Boardwalk and Inlet located at 809 S. Atlantic Ave. in Ocean City.

Acclaimed country singer-songwriter Jamey Johnson takes the stage Friday, Sept. 23 at 8:00 p.m. Johnson has received five GRAMMY® nominations during his career for work he has performed and for his work writing for artists such as George Strait and Trace Adkins.

Country and pop music artist and three-time GRAMMY® Award winner Kenny Rogers brings his long list of No. 1 hits to Ocean City on Saturday, Sept. 24 at 8:00 p.m. An American icon, Rogers has recorded more than 65 albums that have sold more than 120 million copies worldwide.

There will also be a free show on Sunday, Sept. 25, featuring Captain Fantastic, billed as the premier Elton John tribute show.

Admission to the four-day event is free. Tickets for the evening headline acts are available online at through ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-551-7328, or at the Ocean City Convention Center Box Office located at 4001 Coastal Hwy. in Ocean City. All other entertainment at the festival is free.
