Fodor's Travel Guides has named Charleston, South Carolina one of the top 21 cities to visit in the world. Other cities on Fodor's list of "21 Places to Go in 2012" include such celebrated international destinations as London, Paris and Milan. In fact the only other U.S. city named was Oahu, Hawaii. Charleston, labeled a "Buzzy Destination" by the travel experts at Fodor's, was heralded for its award-winning chefs and "spectacular" Southern cuisine.
