The vacation rentals company spices up its festival offerings with the choice of free bike rentals or a round of golf for two in addition to a 10 percent discount on accommodations
High-end wines and Lowcountry cuisine come together this spring for the 27th annual Hilton Head Island Wine & Food Festival. The festival will run Monday, March 5 through Saturday, March 10, 2012, with activities at various locations across Hilton Head Island, S.C.
As a proud Harvest Sponsor for the festival, ResortQuest® by Wyndham Vacation Rentals is offering two special lodging packages for guests attending Hilton Head Island’s premier wine and culinary event: the Island Lovers’ Package and the Golf Lovers’ Package. These special offers are valid for stays Saturday, March 3 through Sunday, March 11, 2012.
The Island Lovers’ Package includes 10 percent off a two-night stay plus complimentary bike rentals for two. Rates for the Island Lovers’ Package start at $99 per person per night for a two-bedroom, resort-view villa, or $145 per person per night for an oceanfront condo. The Golf Lovers’ Package combines a discount of 10 percent off two nights’ accommodations with a round of golf for two at any Heritage Golf Collection course on the Island, including Shipyard, Port Royal, Oyster Reef and Palmetto Hall. Rates for the Golf Lovers’ Package start at $151 per person per night in a two-bedroom, resort-view villa. Offers are valid on select vacation rentals, and availability is limited.

A number of Great Chefs of the South Wine Dinners will be held from March 5-9 at diverse venues across Hilton Head Island. Ticket prices for the dinners range from $55 to $125 per person. The six-day festival culminates in the Wine & Food Fest on Saturday, March 10 at Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn. A Public Tasting and Silent Auction will take place from noon to 3:00 p.m. with a $45 admission fee that includes a souvenir wine glass and access to all of the free tastings from domestic and international wineries, vineyards and wine distributors. Saturday’s weighty roster of events also features an Outdoor Gourmet cooking demonstration, a Culinary Court showcasing local restaurant fare, and the lively Bartender’s Challenge and Waiter’s Race competitions. The Coastal Discovery Museum is located near the north end of Hilton Head Island at 70 Honey Horn Drive, off Business 278/William Hilton Pkwy.
