Wyndham Vacation Rentals Announces New Management and Sales Agreement with Destin Pointe

Wyndham Vacation Rentals, the world’s largest professionally managed vacation rental business and part of the Wyndham Worldwide family of brands (NYSE: WYN), has entered into an agreement with the owners of the prestigious Destin Pointe, An Island Neighborhood, located on Holiday Isle in Destin, Fla. ResortQuest by Wyndham Vacation Rentals will exclusively provide onsite vacation rental management and real estate services. The new partnership went into effect on Nov. 1, 2012.

The agreement includes a multi-year lease of the Beach Club, which houses the real estate and rental operations, the owners’ suites, the association office as well as the new fitness center. Renovations to the welcome center and the offices are currently underway. From this location, ResortQuest by Wyndham Vacation Rentals is able to provide its property services to all owners and rental guests of Destin Pointe.

“Destin Pointe is a premier beach front community located on the Emerald Coast and is quite possibly one of Destin’s ‘hidden gems,’” said Lino Maldonado, vice president of Wyndham Vacation Rentals. “Many, if not all of the condominiums and private rentals offer panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico and Destin Pass. Along with the amenities and family atmosphere of Destin Pointe, our industry-recognized and award-winning services are an added value to our owners and renters. We look forward to working closely with the community.”

Sitting on 39 acres, the gated community of Destin Pointe is home to 159 cottages and personal homes offering unobstructed views of the emerald-tinted sea from the airy verandas and spacious front porches. Built in 1986 directly on Destin Pass, the six-story Magnolia House Tower is comprised of 66 units with one and two bedrooms ranging from 800 to 1,300 sq ft. Amenities include access to the Village Green, the Beach Club, tennis courts and more. The properties provide direct access to the beach on Destin Pass and Destin Harbor on the Gulf Coast, which you won’t find anywhere else in Destin.
